The largest click beetle in the USA is undoubtedly the white eyed click beetle. Impressive size and impressive markings make this specimen a great conversation piece. The larvae are predacious and lice in logs for about a year. After pupation these will emerge in late spring and fly through the end of summer. This specimen was caught in Atlanta Georgia on the 21st of august 2021.
