The Harlequin Beetle boasts some of the longest arms in the insect kingdom. This species is native to most of South America, but this specimen comes specifically from Peru. These beetles in addition to their oblong arms have intricate flame like designs on their elytra. Making this a must have for nature enthusiasts and tattoo shops seeking natural traditional art. The larvae of this species have still to this day yet to be photographed, however their populations are still booming within the Amazon Rainforest.
